Actress Kirsten Dunst accidentally smoked a real joint while on set filming her new movie Woodshock.
The movie includes marijuana smoking scenes, and during one take a joint filled with marijuana made its way onto set and into Dunst’s hands without her knowledge that it was a real joint, reports Allure. Typically, on movie sets, she said, the actors don’t smoke actual marijuana, instead it’s “movie pot, whatever they roll…tobacco if you smoke cigarettes, they roll herby stuff — not herb, but you know — like fake whatever. Oregano.”
Dunst said, “After we were done with the scene, I went back to this little bedroom to rest and I started to feel like I was losing my mind. I went to the bathroom, I’m pacing. I told the director there was something wrong with me, I think I need to go to the hospital. There’s something seriously up, I feel like I’m losing my mind! [The director] goes back, he looks at everything that I smoked to make sure everything is okay, and came back and said, ‘You smoked a full blunt on one of the takes.’” And not only was it an entire blunt, Dunst added, it was a packed with Humboldt County marijuana which is notoriously potent.
It turns out the film crew that rolled the “movie joints” decided to include some real marijuana for fun.
Dunst said, “I was crying, laughing, eating a peanut butter sandwich. I couldn’t film anymore, they sent me home! I was a total mess! I’ve never been that stoned in my entire life!”
